Schlotter Precision Products Inc. has been perfecting the process of custom plastic injection molding since 1978. This process, which focuses on injecting heated plastic into an injection mold cavity which will later be cooled and used as a way to reproduce parts, is the reason that we’ve gained and maintained such loyal customers. For years, companies have been coming to us in hopes of having an alternative to using metal. By using plastic, we provide our customers with an economical way to make injection molds for their future parts production process.
Benefits of Plastic Injection Molding
• Design freedom for your product
• Diversity in the types of materials used
• Durable and reliable quality mold designs
• Higher rate of production due to easy production means
• Inexpensive way to reproduce products again and again
• Minimal scraps due to precise mold designs
Diverse Materials Used in Molding
In our high-end engineering, we use a wide array of materials for our plastic injection molds. Some of these materials include ABS, PBT, LCP, PEEK, styrene, polyetherimide, polypropylene, nylons, and polycarbonate. Similarly, we combine materials with fillers, like Teflon, mineral, glass, and carbon fibers.
Complete Inspection of Injection Mold Design
At Schlotter, we aim to provide competitive prices, reliable service, and most importantly, high-quality products. In order to ensure the highest level of quality, we create and construct a mold prototype. Then we go ahead and do an all-around inspection of the injection mold to make sure it is optimal and durable enough to be used repeatedly.
Quality Control, Quality Molding
While other injection molding companies may not
follow the same standards for quality control, we only adhere
to the strictest quality control guidelines. Here at
Schlotter, we adhere to the ISO 9000 system to make certain
that our customers receive the highest quality products all
the time. We care about our clients and only want to
do right for them with our custom plastic injection molding.
